The United States (U.S.) Army Systems Readiness Directorate, representing the U.S. National Airworthiness Council (NAC), has extended the validity of the Certificate of Recognition issued to the  Department of  Supervision over Military Aviation (commonly known as Military Aviation Authority, CZE MAA) of the Industrial Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic as a recognized aviation authority for the area of airworthiness for another four-year period. This has been done by the U.S.  side on the basis of the results of the assessment of procedures and processes carried out by the Department of Supervision over Military Aviation of the Industrial Cooperation Division of the MoD, Czech Republic.

Since the U.S. National Airworthiness Council includes the Airworthiness Authorities of the United States Army, the United States Navy, and the United States Air Force, the confirmation of the compatibility of the CZE MAA with these Authorities represents a prerequisite for further deepening of the Czech-American cooperation in the field of military aviation in its entirety.
