AH-1Z Viper registered

On 1 August 2023, a significant step was taken in favour of launching the operation of helicopters of the H-1 system in the conditions of the Army of the Czech Republic. The first two  helicopters of the AH-1Z type were entered on the Military Aircraft Register of the Czech Republic at the request of the Air Force Headquarters. The aircraft registration and allocation of their registration marks, 0486 and 0487, was performed by the Department of Supervision over Military Aviation (i. e., Military Aviation Authority, MAA-CZE) of the Industrial Cooperation Division of the Ministry of Defence.
