Working annual bilateral meeting between Czech and Slovak military aviation authorities (CZE MAA and SVK MAA)

Regular working meeting between CZE and SVK MAA representatives headed by their respective Directors, Col Vaclav Cermak and LTCol Radovan Petranin (deputy director) was held in Liptovsky Mikulas on 5th – 7th November 2024. This tradition maintains continuity in regular meetings of both the Authorities on yearly basis in order to exchange experience in the field of military aviation.

Topics of certification of personnel, aviation ground-based aids and provision of aeronautical meteorological services, as well as implementation of European regulations to military aviation and approval of wind turbine installations were inter alia thoroughly discussed this time. Agenda also included sharing experience with implementation of new platforms (F-16 and AH-1Z Viper / UH-1Y) into service of respective air forces. Implementation of EMAR M and EMAR CAMO was also discussed.
